POTS Assessment (One-Stop)

Service Description

During a POTS assessment, the aim is to confirm or refute a diagnosis of POTS but also to ensure there is no cardiac cause for the symptoms. He will do a consultation, physical examination, active sitting-stand test, ECG and echocardiogram. Dr Ramcharan will then go through the diagnosis and if it is POTS, vasovagal syncope or other form of autonomic dysfunction, he will go through in detail management of this including dietary advice, positioning and adjustments, as well as detailed exercise advice. Appointments typically last between 60-90 minutes
